Pinterest

I have had my account for over a year now, and the app is great; it's so much fun I never get bored by it. However, a few days ago, I tried to log in to do some scrolling, and the app tells me that my account was deactivated since I have apparently violated some of their policies.

I wasn't aware of this happening, and I'm sure that I haven't done anything wrong on this app. Obviously, I am very confused at first and think that it might just be a glitch, but I end up emailing the company, letting them know what had happened, and I get an email back letting me know that my account was suspended and that they will get back to me. I have been emailing the company quite a lot since I really don't want to lose my account but haven't really gotten anywhere. I still can't access my account, and the company hasn't really gotten back to me.

I'm not sure if this is relevant or if it goes against any of their policies, but I will also mention that a few days before my account was deactivated, I also installed the app on my iPad, and everything was working perfectly for a while until this happened. I'm not sure if this has anything to do with the app being installed on two devices, and even if it does, I wasn't let know that something could have happened to my account because of it. Now I can't log in to my account on my phone (Android) or iPad either. I am more disappointed than angry since this is a great app, and I would and have recommended it to my family and friends.

However, this is really upsetting to me since that account had lots of things saved on it, and it was very dear to me. I really hope that I don't end up losing a whole year's worth of memories permanently over something that I wasn't aware of doing, and that they unsuspend my account or at least make the effort to get back to me and not make another AI email me.

I have been loving your Pinterest page for years! It's an important part of my business for inspiration and also planning our projects.

Over the last few days, I have been unable to access pins when I click on them. On my computer, if I find a picture I want to enlarge and possibly explore the website (or whatever), the picture I click on completely disappears! If you guys planned for this to happen, it is possibly one of the most stupid decisions I've ever heard of. You have made it harder to use Pinterest.

Why? My mobile app got weird too. It's definitely more difficult to click on a picture and explore or save, etc. Why?

Please go back to the previous edition of Pinterest. It was easy to use, and I loved it.

Hi I have had this app for a good while now, and I have never had this happen to me before. I was minding my business, and I was going on Pinterest to get an idea for an outfit in a game and when I tried to go into it.

It said that my account was deactivated, and I was like maybe it's a glitch, so I got rid of it and got it back and when I tried to log back into it. It said the same thing. And I was like I didn't do anything to get it deactivated and there was no reason for it to be deactivated. And they didn't even give me a warning that they were going to deactivate my account, so I'm confused on why they did that.

They also didn't give me a reason why it was getting deactivated. So please fix my account please, or I'm going to call and give you guys a piece of my mind, and I'm being nice as possible so get back to me soon thank you!!!

I went to go open the Pinterest app, and it logged me out, so I logged back in, and it said my account was deactivated. But I never deactivated my account, so I sent an email to fill out a report, and they emailed me back saying my message didn't go through when they emailed me saying they got my report.

So they told me to fill it out again, so I did that, but they emailed me saying they didn't get my message and they want me to fill it out again. So I tried to call Pinterest, but the first time they hung up on me.

Then the second time they answered, but then they hung up, and I'm just trying to figure out why my account got deactivated or suspended when I didn't do anything. I just scroll through Pinterest and look at pins.

I believe the AI system in Pinterest mistakenly suspended my Pinterest account, and I would love for it to be reviewed and reactivated.

I believe AI accidentally mistook a lot of the K-pop pictures and videos as adult content.

I also inform you that my Pinterest account (samonyaiwilliams@***.com) has been suspended for the last few weeks. I just found out a week ago that it was suspended, and I was extremely surprised and saddened. I have been using Pinterest since I was in middle school. I don't want to create a new account. I want my old account back. It has so many memories, videos, and pictures that I've been saving since middle school. I followed the Pinterest policy and community guidelines.

Due respect, please forgive me if I ever made a mistake. If you give me back my account, I will be able to fix the mistake and will not make any future mistakes ever again. Please respond quickly to my email; that would mean a lot to me. Thank you so much.
